What happened in Paris that made Chandrababu Naidu very happy, he thanked Anand Mahindra

Mahindra Group Chairman Business Tycoon Anand Mahindra announced the opening of the second cafe of Andhra Pradesh’s world famous Araku Coffee in Paris. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is very happy with Mahindra’s announcement.

Responding to Anand Mahindra’s post, CM Naidu posted on ‘X’, “Great news of another cafe opening in Paris, I am happy that Araku Coffee is getting the global recognition it deserves.”

The Chief Minister wrote, “Nandi Foundation’s Arakunomics and Girijan Cooperative Corporation have turned a dream into reality and also transformed the lives of our tribal sisters and brothers. I hope that more such success stories will emerge from Andhra Pradesh in the future.”

Anand Mahindra, chairman of the board of the Naandi Foundation, had earlier announced that they would soon open a second cafe in Paris near the Pantheon. In his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme on June 30, the Prime Minister He thanked Narendra Modi for mentioning Araku coffee.

The industrialist wrote that tribal farmers grow coffee in the Araku Valley using their unique agricultural practices. It is now a worldwide famous brand and is considered one of the best coffees in the world.

The business tycoon said that as chairman of the board he was well aware of the 25-year journey undertaken by the Naandi Foundation at the behest of Chandrababu Naidu, who worked closely with late Dr Reddy (Dr K Anji Reddy) to start Naandi and transform the lives of tribal farmers by encouraging them to grow high-quality coffee.

Anand Mahindra praised Naandi Foundation CEO Manoj Kumar and said that he was excited about his and his team’s vision to make coffee a global brand. He recalled that the first outlet was opened in the Marais district of Paris.

Mahindra wrote, “Today, people in Paris are standing in long queues outside the store for their everyday cup of Araku, and I am happy to announce that we are soon going to open a second cafe near the Pantheon in Paris. Apart from this, we also have outlets in Bengaluru and Mumbai.”

He said, “As the Prime Minister said, so far more than 300,000 tribals have come out of poverty and more than 42,000 farmer families have become lakhpatis and are earning a profit of Rs 1,00,000 per season from coffee. The best part is that these tribal families have also planted 45 million trees so far and 6 million more trees will be planted this monsoon. This is the true ‘return on equity’ from creating a global social enterprise brand from India.
